Read [../01-start/new-player.md](../01-start/new-player.md) first, then [../01-start/first-hour.md](../01-start/first-hour.md). The short version: walk around, mug a few NPCs for starter cash, decide if you want to join/create a gang or play solo. ### Do I need to join a gang? No. Solo play is viable. You'll miss raid content, but mugging, drug sales, pickpocket, airdrops, and most other activities work solo. See [../02-gangs/overview.md](../02-gangs/overview.md). ### How do I make money fast as a new player? Mug NPCs ([guide](../05-crime-loops/mugging.md)). Each mug is $25–180 + chance of item drops. You can do one every 3 minutes per ped, so move between districts. ### What do things cost? | Item | Price | |---|---| | Gang tablet | $3,500 | | Creating a gang | $15,000 (+ tablet = $18,500) | | Spray can | $50–200 | | Crafting bench upgrade | $20k–40k | | Money safe upgrade | $10k–20k | See individual feature pages for full breakdowns. --- ## Gangs ### How do I join a gang? Ask in chat or Discord. Most gangs recruit openly. You'll need a gang tablet ($3,500). The recruiter sends you an invite from their tablet; you accept from yours. ### How do I create a gang? Get $18,500 (tablet + creation fee). See [../02-gangs/creating-a-gang.md](../02-gangs/creating-a-gang.md). One person leads — they're the boss; others get invited. ### Can I leave a gang and join another? Yes. From the tablet → "Leave gang" → confirm. You lose all gang-attached perks. You can join a different one immediately (no cooldown). ### What if my gang's boss goes inactive? That's a known problem. Discuss in gang chat — sometimes the boss assigns a deputy. Worst case: admin intervention can re-assign the role. ### Can I be in multiple gangs? No. One gang at a time per character. --- ## Territory ### How do I claim a zone? Build presence in it. Place sprays, mug NPCs there, do gang activities. Over time, your gang's presence "tips" the zone to your ownership. See [../03-territory/capturing-zones.md](../03-territory/capturing-zones.md). ### Why can't I claim my own first zone? You need to be in a gang first, and the zone needs to be "uncaptured" or "contested." If a rival gang already owns it, you must contest them. ### What if I leave my gang? Do my sprays stay? The sprays stay (they were placed by the gang, not you personally). You no longer have gang affiliation, so you don't see the gang-only data anymore. ### Why isn't my zone being captured even though I'm here? Check: - Is the zone owned by a rival? They may be actively defending - Are you placing sprays? They contribute most to progress - Are you the only one active? Solo grinding is slow --- ## Combat & robbery ### Why won't this NPC let me rob them? Likely reasons: - They're a cop / sheriff / military model (blacklisted) - They're a story mission NPC - They're in a vehicle (default off) - They're already armed - You're outside 7m range See [../05-crime-loops/mugging.md](../05-crime-loops/mugging.md). ### Why did the ped pull a gun on me? 5% chance to resist. The NPC pulled their own weapon. Survive the fight or flee. ### How do I rob another player? Use `zipties` + `headbag` items on a downed or surrendered player. See [../05-crime-loops/ziptie-headbag.md](../05-crime-loops/ziptie-headbag.md). The target must be vulnerable — you can't just ziptie someone walking around. ### Can I get arrested? Yes — cops can arrest you. Process varies by server. Generally: cuffs → transport → jail time + fine. --- ## Money ### How do I wash dirty money? Find the wash NPC (*skalbėjas*), create a money order, travel to the laundromat, exchange the order. See [../04-economy/money-laundering.md](../04-economy/money-laundering.md). 1% tax default. ### What's the best item to wash — bandsofnotes or stacksofcash? `stacksofcash` pays more per item ($120–152 vs $80–115). `bandsofnotes` is more common loot. Mix both. ### My money order expired — what happened? 20-minute timer ran out before exchange. The order is destroyed, items inside lost. Set a faster pace next time. --- ## Drug dealing ### Why does the ped keep refusing? 25% fail rate default. Try other peds. Don't sell in your own gang zone (lower bonus). Cops nearby reduce success too. ### Cops keep getting called — what do I do? 30% chance per attempt. Move districts after a call. Avoid high-cop zones. Time your dealing. ### What's the gang-zone bonus? Selling in a RIVAL gang's zone gives 2× gang reputation. This is the headline "gangwars loop" — push activity into enemy territory. ### Can I sell while a cop is online? Yes (by default). Some servers require a minimum cop count. Check with admin if sales fail with "not enough cops on duty." --- ## Raids & airdrops ### Why can't I claim a raid? You need **3+ gang members** locked in. Solo players cannot claim. Wait for your gang to coordinate. ### What if I miss the raid window? Wait for the next contract. They spawn every ~125 min after a completed/failed raid. ### Are airdrops gang-only? No — anyone can claim. Solo players have a real shot at quiet airdrops. ### Where does the airdrop spawn? Random location. Map waypoint appears for everyone. The "race" is part of the design. --- ## Tablet & UI ### Why isn't my tablet working? Common causes: - You don't have the `gangtablet` item (check inventory) - The resource crashed (ask admin to restart pug-gangs) - You're not in any gang and trying to access gang-only views ### Can I open the tablet in a vehicle? Yes as a passenger. Not while driving. ### My tablet shows blank screen — bug? Try: close + reopen, restart the resource, full client restart. If persistent, report via in-game bug form. --- ## Misc ### What does "Saturday war" mean? Weekly gang-vs-gang event with PvP rules. Big rewards. Many players do — they run legal jobs (trucker, mechanic, EMS, taxi) and avoid gang content. The server isn't crime-only. ### Why is everything in Lithuanian sometimes? The server is Lithuanian-themed (Kaunas reimagining). Most signs, NPC names, and chatter lean LT. You'll pick it up quickly. See [lithuanian-terms.md](lithuanian-terms.md). ### How do I report a bug? Discord `#bug-reports` channel. Include steps to reproduce + screenshot if possible. See [reporting](../12-settings-admin/reporting.md) for the full format. ### Can I bring my own car / character? Most servers have whitelists. Ask admin.
